However, to ensure smooth delivery, please be aware of the following for Funeral Home Deliveries:
1. Please be sure to notify the funeral home of when your shipment is expected to arrive and the name of your loved one.
2. Unless otherwise arranged when you ordered, caskets are delivered during normal business hours. You DO NOT have to be present at the time of delivery – the funeral home receives caskets every day and knows exactly what to do. However, if convenient, we recommend you or a representative be present at the time of delivery to ensure it’s received with loving arms.
3. The casket will arrive in heavily reinforced cardboard to ensure safe transit and delivery of your product. This cardboard is easily recyclable.
Returns & Refunds
In the (very rare) case of damage, please refuse the casket at the time of delivery. We will immediately ship a new product or refund your order in full. Clear documentation and photos of product damage taken on the day of delivery will be required. Usually you can save hundreds if not thousands of dollars purchasing a casket online. All funeral homes must have a federally mandated general price list in which they list costs for their services. Service costs vary from funeral home to funeral home for many reasons. One reason is that most funeral homes include profit in what they charge for the casket, some more than others. Casket mark-ups at funeral homes can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars depending on the casket and depending on the funeral home.
